Approximately 30,000 people die each year in Ireland. Each death affects at least 10 people, therefore at least 300,000 people are newly bereaved each year.  Many of those people die in the care of The Irish Hospice Foundation.  The Hospice has just published a book entitled ‘Irish Stories of Loss and Hope’ which they hope, will show people .. “the individual nature of grief, the difficulties that grieving brings and also the hope that exists as people find their way through.”  Jerusha McCormack’s account of how she coped with bereavement is included in the book – and she recalled her experience with Eileen Good.
