Music: ‘Joy to the World’
The Miami Showband is back and its story continues with the ‘Joy to the World’ concert tour in support of the charity ‘Children in Crossfire’. This charity was founded in 1972 by Richard Moore. Richard was blinded by a rubber bullet at the age of 10 during the troubles in the North. He has turned personal tragedy into triumph bring healing and reconciliation throughout the world with his charity. Stephan Travers, one of the survivors of the Miami Showband massacre in 1975, witnessed at first hand the work of ‘Children in Crossfire’ when he visited Tanzania and was inspired to bring back the Miami Showband to support the work of ‘Children in Crossfire’ – listen to ‘Joy to the World’.
