Vatican II: 50 years on

In the second part of our series on Vatican II, we look at Vatican II and ecology, whether anything has been done regarding a theological understanding of environmental matters. Miriam Gormally spoke with Marian O’Sullivan, a Dominican sister who lives and works in An Tairseach, an Ecology centre in Wicklow. Miriam began by asking her about the practical and spiritual dimension to her work.

    What a realistic view of where Church is and some basic theological understandings. Many thanks for this clear view. We can only live in hope that the message will spread quickly enough for our hearts to be touched anew.
