A Converted Atheist

Leah Libresco, who’d been a prominent atheist blogger for the religion website Patheos took the world by storm when two years ago she announced her decision to convert to Catholicism. After years of debating many “smart Christians,” she decided that her only option was to become one herself. Libresco, who had blogged under the banner “Unequally Yoked: A geeky atheist picks fights with her Catholic boyfriend,” said that at the heart of her decision were questions of morality and how one finds a moral compass. She was recently in Ireland giving a talk in conjunction with the Irish Catholic to talk about her conversion and the importance of having better arguments.
