Climate Change Challenge
2015 is a critical year in addressing the impending climate emergency and charting a path towards a more sustainable future, culminating in the UN Summit (COP21) in Paris in, starting on November 30th.
Climate change, and the injustice it represents, is one of the most serious challenges facing humanity. But while the evidence of human-made climate change is overwhelming, action to stem the rise in global temperatures lags far behind.
Trocáire will be organising a big rally in Dublin as well as other rallies around the country on November 29th to raise awareness and to send the message that people want our governmental leaders to take action.
Miriam Gormally spoke with Lorna Gold, head of policy and advocacy at Trocáire to find our more. She also spoke about how Pope Francis has made a huge contribution to the debate.
