NUA is a series of eight short films about fifteen minutes each, produced by Scripture Union Ireland. The films encourage questions, acknowledge doubt, and offer an engaging and fresh perspective on the Christian faith.

Scott Evans, Church of Ireland Chaplain at UCD was one of the script writers for this series of films. Here he talks with Miriam Gormally about how the films equip viewers with the ability to explore and understand what they believe.

He is currently showing them in UCD to students who are looking at the issue of faith in their lives. Here explains how the film can give people a platform from which to engage in discussion around issues of faith as well as encouraging people to wrestle with the things that don’t seem to make sense in the world.

Miriam began by asking Scott what role films like Nua could play in the daily life of a college student.
