Liam Cahill brings us updates from around the world including news that The Church of Ireland has welcomed the publication of the agreed statement of the Anglican / Roman Catholic international commission entitled “Mary, Grace & Hope in Christ’,  Archbishop Sean Brady revealed in Milan recently that he looks forward to engagement with ministers from all parties including the Democratic Unionist Party and that a power- sharing system is necessary for a more mature Northern Ireland, Trociare urges the government to reach the UN spending target on overseas aid by 2010, eight students from St. Patrick’s college Maynooth will be ordained to the priesthood in 2005 and the chief executive of the Irish Hospice Foundation has said radical changes are needed in how hospitals deal with the dying patient.
