Feast of St. Vincent De Paul

St Vincent de Paul’s feast day is on the 27th of September, a day when people remember the charitable works of a man who inspired many to dedicate their life to helping others.  The St Vincent de Paul society in Ireland has helped many people over the years who find themselves in difficulty.  But is it still needed in the Celtic Tiger Ireland of today?  Miriam Gormally met Columba Faulkner from the St Vincent de Paul society in Ireland to find out.  But first Columba Faulkner gave some background history about St Vincent himself.
