In the preface to her book Embracing Women Archbishop John Neill says ‘Ginnie Kennerley has herself been a key part of the story of the development of the ministry of women in the priesthood, and it is encouraging that she has written the story of what has been one of the most significant changes in the life of the Church of Ireland emerging from the twentieth century.’  This journalist, academic and parish priest spoke to Eileen Good, starting with the difficulties of those early years.
