As life becomes more busy, contemplative orders are seeing an increase in interest.

Here Michael McGolderick O. Carm gives us a brief history of the Carmelites and where they began. He explains the split that came about after reform within the Carmelite community. He discusses the vision of contemplation of life and its relevance today and gives us an insight into the typical day of a a Carmelite.
